Brian Dougherty moderates panel discussion on defined contribution plans
Partner Brian Dougherty was the Moderator of a Panel Discussion entitled DC Plans: Leveraging Advanced Design Features and Avoiding Administrative Pitfalls. Defined contribution plans, in particular 401(k) plans, have become the focus of comprehensive and intensive legislative and regulatory attention. This panel discussion dealt with the variety of design options, as well as how to navigate the difficulties of government regulation. The discussion, hosted by PEBA (Pennjerdel Employee Benefits and Compensation Association), took place on April 8, 2009 at Deloitte LLP in Philadelphia, PA.
